The National Advisory Committee (NAC) of the All People Congress Party (APC) has said in a press statement on Tuesday, February 2, 2022,that it has unanimously agreed that the APC party would abide by the recommendations of the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC).
The PPRC Directives were accepted at an expanded NAC meeting on Tuesday to deliberate and proffer solution on the PPRC ruling on January 28, 2022,which focused on the objections to the provisions of the APC Adopted Constitution.
This came after the Commission presided hearing sessions of the 11 objections it received from APC members on various provisions of the published draft Constitution of the APC Party.
“It is the directive of the PPRC that upon compliance with the directives, the constitution shall become effective two weeks after the date of republication in the Government Gazette,” the party said in the statement.
NAC said in the statement that Party would similarly consider the suggestions proffered by the PPRC in the same ruling, and they would shortly revert to the Commission with the required amendments to the Adopted Constitution for re-publication in the Government Gazette.
