SLFA Boosts Premier League

As the second phase of the Sierra Leone Premier League resumes, the Sierra Leone Football Association has provided a financial support of Four Hundred Million Leones (Le400,000,000) to the Sierra Leone Premier League Board (SLPLB) on Friday February 11, 2022.

According to the Head of Media and Marketing SLFA, Ibrahim Kamara the support is to boost the administrative running of the league, as the PLB looks forward to receiving huge Government support and signing lucrative sponsorship agreement with potential sponsors.

In another development, SLFA would like to bring to the notice of the Premier League Board, Clubs and the general public that players whose transfer processes are marred with disputes, for which complaints have been forwarded to the FA, are not eligible to participate in the league until such issues are addressed by the appropriate bodies within the Federation.
