Orange SL Opens High-tech Headquarters

One of Sierra Leone leading mobile telecom operators, Orange Sierra Leone has on Wednesday, March, 2022 opened its high-tech and refurbished headquarters at Hill Station in Freetown.

The Chief Executive Officer, Orange Sierra Leone, Aminata Kane said the high-tech head office is to improve its network capacity through its modernized digital platform, adding that the Human Resource Department was instrumental to achieve this objective.

“In 2020, we realized that the company was not up to standard when compared to other Orange offices across the world. Therefore, we started the journey to refurbish and extend the facility. The project is estimated to have cost Le11 billion Leones,” she said.

Kane applauded the efforts of her staff and stakeholders, adding that they have always stayed committed, and had been providing uninterrupted quality services in the country

She said over the years they had engaged in improving the capacity of staff through capacity bulding, improved medical and life insurance system and in-house health care.

She further said that Orange group is extremely committed to be a major player of development in this country, adding that they are convinced that they have been integral in the growth of Sierra Leone.

An employee of Orange Sierra Leone, Victoria Elba said that the opening of the refurbished headquarter would serve as an historical day for the staff of the company  because they had put lots of efforts together to transformed the old structure to a high-tech centre.

She cited that the company started its operation over 21 years ago, and  that within those periods they had engaged in several transformational strides and providing exceptional services in Sierra Leone.

Elba added that with the restructured office they would have comfortable space to work, adding that the new facility provides gyms and a comfort space for mothers to put their babies.
