The Housemates Salone season 3 reality show will start on May 22, 2022, with a star prize of Le, 250 million and a round trip to Dubai for the winner, a Senior official of the Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire said on Friday.
This year’s edition is dubbed; ‘D Game Get Yagba, if you nr able pull hand’ seeks to empower, educate, and transform young Sierra Leoneans by giving them the platform required to excel. The reality show also entertains the general population and the world. For this year’s reality show 60 finalists had been shortlisted among which, slightly above 20 applicants who will pull the highest votes in order of hierarchy will make it to the house.
The Executive Chairperson of AYV, Dr. Ezekiel Lakkoh told Journalists that even though the past seasons of Housemates Salone were successful but this year’s edition is unique because the reality show has grabbed international attention, adding that they are proud to have about three international sponsors and a huge number of local sponsors that will be providing different opportunities for contestants during and after the show.
He added that the show would also ensure that they create internal platforms for contestants, and sponsors will also have an opportunity to have commercial viability internationally due to the presence of AYV Channel 399 on DSTV Multichoice platform.
Dr. Lakkoh also mentioned that sponsor will be providing hospitality for contestants by providing comfortable mattresses, clothing, food, physical and mental balance, among others.
The Manager for Events and Sponsorship at Africell, Abdul Aziz admonished supporters to continue voting for remaining participants, adding that other platforms of voting had been established to enable supporters to use various options in voting and to ease voting traffic.
