LAJ’s brothers, nine others seek bail at High Court pending appeal

Lawyer representing  Ishmael Bah, Mohamed S. Bah (all brothers of LAJ, a popular rapper) and nine others have filed an application for bail at the High Court presided by  Justice Adrian Fisher pending the hearing and determination of their appeal.

Alhaji Amadu Bah, Ishmael Bah, Mohamed S. Bah, Zunaika Jabbie, Abibatu Sesay, Isatu Cece Kabba, Isatu Kargbo, Bintu Bangura, Ibrahim Bangura, Suliaman Shaw, Samuel Ulaha Samura, and Ibrahim Koroma were sentenced to 36 months in prison each  by Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Pademba road Court No.2 in Freetown a couple of months ago after they were all found guilty on two counts of riotous conduct and disorderly behavior contrary to Law.

It was alleged that all the accused had gone to the Operational and Supports Department (OSD) headquarters in Freetown  on the June 15, 2022, demanding to see LAJ who was held in custody at the police detention facility at the time.

The matte comes up for hearing  before Justice Fisher on 1st September 1, 2022.
