The Living Word of Faith Outreach Ministries International (LFOFOMI) has on Sunday September 11, 2022, commenced their 30th edition (1993-2022) of prophetic and glory filled encounter at their Faith Cathedral on Victoria Street in Freetown.
The 7-day glory filled encounter themed; “Releasing the Glory of the Latter House,” had seen an opening day visit of President Julius Maada Bio and other state dignitaries at their assembly. The Encounter will entail conferences at the Faith Cathedral, revivals and a great thanksgiving service on Sunday September 18, 2022 in all assemblies.
In his welcome Address, Reverend Lady Veralina Akintayo Sam-Jolly appreciated President Bio for honoring their invitation and prayed that no man should corrupt the word of God in Sierra Leone.
She added that the encounter is an opportunity to change lives in different localities in the Country, adding that since 1993 to date the glory of the encounters had transcended international boundaries and had blessed millions of lives.
Lady Sam-Jolly emphasized that it is a summit of humble and great ministration, thus she believed that every edition of the encounter has had fresh deposit of glory in the lives of those who believed.
President Julius Maada Bio said was a blessing to be in the presence of God, adding that being elected into the Presidency does not come from man but from God.
Bio added his government has been able to achieve its goals in human capital development especially in education with the intervention of God, adding that although the progress in human capital development has been it has now begun to show.
In his ministration, the General Overseer of LWOFOMI, Bishop Akintayo Sam-Jolly took his text from Haggai 2:7-9, the text teaches the commitment of God’s glory in his house of worship.
He added that God does not delight in poverty but gives hope for a change and a better life, consequently he admonished everyone present to create an atmosphere attract the glory of God.
