Ibrahim Sesay popularly known as Kassim D.Wizard, a local artist in Freetown, has said that he would soon release his first extended play (EP) titled: ‘Elevate’, which preaches love, courage, among other things.
According to him, the forthcoming EP has five tracks: ‘Bodoyorology’, ‘4Kam’, ‘Shokoto’ and ‘Kontri’, and to make it more fascinating, he featured several other local artists like Kracktwist, Joel and Kaley Bag.
The songs, which will be showcasing Kassim improvements over the years, are made up of Afrobeat, Amapiano, etc. “I have put so much work into producing this forthcoming album. I want to make it more appealing not only to my fans but also to music lovers across the country. More energy has been put into this work, and it is absolutely ready for the global market,” he said.
According to him, over the years, he has released many songs including ‘E Lie’, ‘Joanna’, etc.
He explained that he started his music career as a rapper while he was attaining his primary school education at the Pentecostal Primary School in Freetown. “I came to realize my full ability as a musician when I was attaining secondary school education at Albert Academy Secondary School in Freetown. It has not been an easy journey, but I am encouraging every artist not to give up, but to keep on working. One day, everything will be okay,” he said.
