Dasu Jawara and Mariama Jawara on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, appeared before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Kabala Court for allegedly beating their landlord Shekuba Kamara to death.
Both accused Dasu Jawara and Mariama Jawara are standing trial before Magistrate Daboh on two counts of conspiracy and murder contrary to law.
According to the particulars of offence, on count on, both accused Dasu Jawara and Mariama Jawara on Thursday, May 28, 2024, at 39 Jalloh Street, Kabala, conspired with other persons unknown to commit murder.
The police further alleged on count two that, the accused on the same date and place murdered Shekuba Kamara.
When the charges were read and explained to the accused persons, no plea was taken, and no legal representation was made on their behalf.
Magistrate Daboh however, remanded the accused persons while the matter was adjourned to July 2, 2024.
