U.S Africa Movie Production, a film group founded by Evelyn Grote, a Sierra Leonean based in the U. S., on Saturday August 17th, 2024 has released a new movie titled, ‘Pica’, which enlightens people to be vigilant of their deeds.
‘Pica’ was written by Ngara Solomon Freedom, one of the first-rate writers in Nigeria.
The movie preaches that the happiness of a man depends on his actions, stating that to live happily in life will come from one’s actions and to live unhappily as well will come from his or her actions.
“…we need to be careful with our deeds because there is a reward for every action… If you do well, you will surely encounter good, and you will definitely come upon evil if you do bad. So, if you are doing anything in life make sure it is a good one,” Freedom emphasized.
According to him, the movie is worth watching in view of the fact that it is not only educating, but also entertaining.
He furthered that the movie also advises women to keep away from abortion, for they may end up dying in their attempts to abort babies or experience complications while giving birth in the future.
According to him, the inspiration behind writing the story comes from the experience he has usually had within his environment.
“I usually write about what I see around me and I consider it a disturbance to the growth of the society. Disseminating these messages, I believe movie can do it better, so we usually use the platform,” he said.
U.S. Africa Movie Production, over the years, has produced many life-changing movies, ‘Careless Fate’, ‘Dilemma, ‘Lost Identity’, etc that have been impacting lives globally.
