Sierra Leone Aquatics Starlet Olamiday Elizabeth Sam Departs for Intensive Training Camp in Thailand

Freetown, Sierra Leone – January 24, 2025 – Sierra Leone Aquatics Olympian swimmer, Olamiday Elizabeth Sam, OLY, has embarked on a new chapter in her athletic journey. On Friday, January 24, she departed Freetown for Thailand, where she will join elite international athletes at one of the world’s most prestigious training camps.

A symbol of resilience and determination, Olamiday has represented Sierra Leone on various global platforms, including the recently concluded Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This next step marks a significant opportunity for her to refine her skills ahead of upcoming international competitions.

The training camp, renowned for its cutting-edge facilities and expert coaching staff, focuses on both physical and mental preparation. It promises to offer Olamiday the chance to push her limits, with specialized drills, endurance-building sessions, and technical workshops designed to enhance her performance.
