Sierra Leone Women’s U-17 Complete First Training in Bamako

The Sierra Leone Women’s U-17 team has kicked off preparations in Bamako, Mali, with a light recovery session on Thursday, focusing on loosening up and regaining sharpness ahead of their decisive second-leg clash against Guinea.

Meanwhile, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) is pleased to announce a technical test match between the senior national team, Leone Stars, and the U20 national team, Shooting Stars, scheduled for Thursday, 13th March, at 4:15 PM at the Approved School Field in the East of Freetown.

This crucial match is part of the ongoing preparations for both teams ahead of their upcoming international competitions. Leone Stars continue their build-up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Guinea Bissau on March 20th, while Shooting Stars gear up for their participation in the TotalEnergies U20 Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Ivory Coast.
