Leone Stars Team Manager to rescue three Premier League clubs

Leone Stars Team Manager, Christian Dauda, together with Junior Bio, a aports ambassador, has decided to support three Premier League Clubs and a Second Division club in Lungi with 25kg bags of rice and sums of money for each player amidst COVID-19.

According to information reaching this medium, the move is part of the TM’s plan to assist clubs that are presently struggling to meet their financial obligations, especially to pay players and technical staff.

“We are going to support three clubs with 25kg bags of rice and small token for the players,” Dauda said.

He stated that Central Parade, Anti-Drugs and Lungi Rangers would benefit from the donation, and also support Diamond Stars.

“We’ll take up the affairs of their finances for the next two to three months. This is just a way of keeping the clubs alive as the Coronavirus continues to have a negative toll on football,” he said.

Mr. Dauda further stated that the donation is not intended to be self-serving, but to encourage other football stakeholders and fans to come together and adopt clubs during the period.

He however added that he would also be giving support to BBN Sports Avenue program; a boost that has seen the return of the show on 92.9 FM. He also said that he had plans to support other Media Houses in the country.

This is not the first time Dauda is doing such to sports in the country, more especially for the past years he has been supporting football leagues across the country, individual players, Division one and two football clubs and non-Division teams.

He is a football enthusiast and a fanatic sportsman whose name is a house hold name in terms of philanthropy rendered towards sports in the country.
