Sierra Leone: CEO of Sierra Star Group to bring multiple investments in S/Leone

The Chief Executive Officer of the Sierra Star Group, businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Abdulai Sidibay, has disclosed to Premier news that he has brought 22 buses, as part of a total of 50 buses which he intends to subsequently bring into the country to ease the present transport crisis in the country.

Mr. Sidibay said that a large section of students and workers leave home for school and work about  5:00am or 8:00am, but do not get to their destinations on time because the population has increased and a large chunk of it relies on public transport to get to schools, work places and business places.

He described traffic hold ups within the city as horrible, and condemned the excruciating delays and overcrowding which those held up in it endure.

He reiterated that he has invested in the 50 busses in a bid to address transportation constraint, and he hopes that the 22 that had arrived will be put into operation soon.

Premier news has learnt that Sidibay has also invested in water and beverage production, disposable aluminum dish production and borehole drilling, which has created jobs for over thousands of youths in the country.

As a result of his acts of philanthropy he was on Thursday January 28th, 2021 crowned as ‘Godfather’ of the popular business organization, ‘Sweissy Jewelers’ in Freetown.

In his statements, the Chairman of the ‘Sweissy’ organization, Mamadi Kallon, said that Sidibay is well known in business nationally and internationally.
