Western Area Rural District Football Association (WARDFA) has commenced a week-long training which started on Tuesday to capacitate over 40 coaches and secretaries of different clubs within the district.
Chairman of the Western Area Rural District Football Association, Mr. Mohamed Bello Yillah said that he was happy to have the training held during his regime.
He thanked the lead instructor, Coach John Keister for opting to share his knowledge with the grassroots coaches in the district.
The Sport Committee Chairman, Western Area Rural District Council, Councillor Yusuf Brima Kamara assured participants that the Council is cognizant of the suffering of especially the coaches and referees, and that Chairman Kasho J. Holland- Cole had assured the executive of the Western Area Rural District Football Association of council’s support for the forthcoming Division Two League.
The Media and Marketing Officer of the  Sierra Leone Football Association, Ibrahim Kamara admonished the trainees to be selfless in their efforts to pursue their dreams.
