AhlulBayt News Agency: The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine has opened a new well in Sierra Leone as part of the “Saqi Atasha Karbala” Wells project on the African continent.
The director of the Center for African Studies of the Department; Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that “the new well was opened in the city of Koidu in the state of Sierra Leone within the project of the “Saqi Atash Karbala” wells in the African continent, under the supervision of the coordinator of the Center; Sheikh Ibrahim Bah, and in the presence of a gathering of followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)”.
“The new well (No. 21) was opened in conjunction with the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), to remember and spread his thought, knowledge and biography in the African society,” he added.
