Moses Belden, a driver, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, appeared before Magistrate Hadiru Daboh of Ross Road Court No.3 in Freetown on 2 counts conspiracy to commit a felony contrary to law and larceny contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.
According to the chargesheet, on count one, the accused Moses Belden on Wednesday, March 15, 202 , at Y.D.M Calaba Town in Freetown, conspired with other persons unknown to commit to commit a larceny.
On count two, the accused on the same date and place stole set of clothes, provisions and cosmetics items valued at Nle10, 243 (ten thousand two hundred and forty three Leones), property of a businesswoman Talahtu Jalloh.
The accused was not represented by a counsel. The accused was remanded by Magistrate Daboh until the 14 April 14, 2023, when the matter comes up again for hearing.
Sergeant 9155 Dwight Macarthy is prosecuting the matter.
