ECOFEST 2024: Bridging Cultures and Creating Opportunities Through Entertainment

Abubakarr Kabaka Turay, the former Chief Executive Officer of ECOFEST, has highlighted the festival’s dual role as both an entertainment platform and a hub for networking among national and international superstars.

 Speaking during the media launch held at the AYV Media Empire on Tower Hill, Turay emphasized ECOFEST’s mission to connect Sierra Leone and Africa to the global stage through music, fashion, and arts.

Describing the festival as a celebration of West African cultural heritage, Turay explained that ECOFEST unites the biggest African superstars with emerging talents on one platform. This unique initiative provides opportunities for artists to collaborate, exchange ideas, and grow their audiences.

Since its inception in 2017, ECOFEST has consistently partnered with AYV Media Empire and other national and international organizations to ensure its success. Turay expressed his gratitude for AYV’s continued support, which has played a vital role in establishing ECOFEST as a leading cultural event.
