Every Nation Polytechnic has celebrated a historic milestone with the official opening of its new ultramodern campus building at Samie II Section in Bo City. The event, attended by a distinguished audience, marked a significant step forward in the institution’s commitment to providing world-class education in Sierra Leone.

The ceremony brought together a host of notable attendees, including the Proprietor, Rev. Shodankeh Johnson; former Vice President Victor Bockarie Foh; officials from the Tertiary Education Committee (TEC); academic staff; national and international partners including representatives from the Christ Community Church in the United States of America; traditional and religious leaders; students; and members of the public. The gathering underscored the importance of this milestone for the institution and the broader community.

In his opening remarks, the Registrar Momoh Albert Lissa noted that the new campus reflects the institution’s pride and optimism for transformative learning in this era of technological transformation.

Rev. Shodankeh Johnson, the Proprietor and Global Team Leader of New Harvest Ministries, recounted the institution’s remarkable journey from its inception in August 1996 to its present-day achievement. He highlighted the critical support of international partners, particularly the Christ Community Church in the United States, and development partners such as Rokel Commercial Bank. Rev. Johnson described how the institution had persevered through challenges, operating in borrowed buildings and makeshift classrooms, to finally inaugurate a fully-owned, state-of-the-art campus. He expressed gratitude to all who contributed to this transformative achievement.

The college’s Principal Christian Johnson reflected on the evolution of Every Nation Polytechnic and described the cutting-edge features of the new campus. The building includes high-speed internet connectivity to facilitate global research and collaboration, fully air-conditioned classrooms with modern furniture, and advanced public address systems. The ultramodern ICT lab, digital library, and state-of-the-art nursing school lab, equipped with the latest teaching materials, offer students an unparalleled academic experience. Additional amenities such as a Mini Mart and a fully equipped electronics lab enhance the campus’s functionality. Mr. Johnson emphasized that these facilities are designed to support both academic and personal development, reinforcing the institution’s mission to produce leaders who positively impact society.

During his address, Mr. Johnson also outlined the institution’s ambitious plans for the future. These include developing sustainable infrastructure, modern hostels, staff quarters, and medical facilities, as well as expanding global partnerships. He called for continued support from the government and stakeholders to achieve these goals and sustain the college’s growth trajectory.

Representing the Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology (EBKUST), Prof. Prince Sorie-Conteh commended Every Nation Polytechnic as the fastest-growing affiliate of EBKUST. He expressed optimism that the college would soon transition to full university status and pledged unwavering institutional support to help realize this vision.
