Freetown, February 21, 2025 – Esther Finda Dauda has been awarded a brand-new Suzuki S-Presso by A Call To Business (ACTB) Bank, emerging as the grand prize winner of the bank’s ‘Save and Win’ promotion.

The official handover ceremony took place at the bank’s headquarters on Freetown Road, near the Lumley Footbridge. The event was graced by key stakeholders, customers, and media representatives.

Running from June 10 to December 2024, the ‘Save and Win’ promotion aimed to encourage both new and existing customers to save a minimum of NLe 5,000 monthly without making withdrawals. The final draw, held on January 31, 2025, saw Dauda clinching the grand prize.

Expressing her excitement, Dauda admitted she never anticipated winning the vehicle and often ignored promotional messages from ACTB Bank. She recounted her experience of being denied a loan by another bank despite being a customer for over 15 years. However, after just three months with ACTB, she was not only approved for a loan but also won the bank’s biggest promotional prize.

Dauda urged others to bank with ACTB, highlighting the valuable financial services they provide.

In addition to the grand prize, the promotion rewarded several other customers with valuable items. Notable winners included:

  • Francis Boima – DSTV package
  • Rebecca Yomba Morsay (Kono) – Air Conditioner
  • Isata Jalloh – Freezer

Jalloh, a customer of ACTB for over four years, expressed her surprise upon winning a freezer and encouraged others to start saving with the bank, noting the real rewards from such promotions.

ACTB’s Commitment to Customers

Speaking at the event, ACTB Bank’s Chief Operating Officer, Idrissa A. Sesay, explained that the promotion was designed to raise awareness about the bank’s wide range of services beyond traditional banking.

“This campaign was aimed at giving back to our loyal customers, both old and new, while promoting a culture of saving. It aligns with our motto of leaving no one behind,” Sesay emphasized.

Marketing Manager Roxlyne Findlay highlighted the promotion’s success, revealing that 22 winners emerged from eight districts across the country, making it an inclusive initiative.

The ‘Save and Win’ campaign also featured monthly prizes, including air conditioners, plasma TVs, smartphones, freezers, Bluetooth speakers, and DSTV sets, ensuring that multiple customers benefited throughout the promotion period.
