Fire of Evangelism and Miracle Ministry, in the east of Freetown on Friday June 24, 2022 will hold a gospel music competition with the aim of promoting gospel music and musicians and fostering love. The competition is titled: ‘Hall of Fame’.
Talking to Premier on Sunday May 29,2022, Abdul Kassim Bangura, the Director and Choir Master of the Ministry said that the Competition provides a platform for gospel musicians in Sierra Leone, where they could showcase their musical talent.
He said that over eight churches would be participating in the forthcoming singing contest.
“Bringing different Churches together would foster much love among them. There will be content creations, brotherhood connections in the kingdom of Christ and guides to one another, since they will all have one spirit.”
According to Bangura, in the end of the competition, certificates would be awarded to groups that would do best ministration.
“Since several gospel ministers and dignitaries from different works of life are coming to grace the event, the participants will be exposed to so many opportunities. On this day, some will have the opportunity of getting managers and sponsors etc.”
According to Bangura music is a tool that easily develops individuals, communities and the nation. He added that it also help disseminate information quickly. “So, there is a need for us to support music and the industry,” he concluded.
