Petros Dalton Pete, a renowned gospel musician has hit the local gospel musical scene with a song titled: ‘Listen’.
The song is played in the afro-fusion musical genre. It encourages people to make time for God and also admonish them to exercise patience.
According to Petros sometimes people only say their prayers, walk “away without waiting to listen to what God has to say.”
He explains: “Sometimes when we pray, we say amen and walk away; God calls us back to say my child I’ve got something to say, but we are always so busy making no time to listen to what God has to say.”
Petros vowed that God is ever ready to answer to anyone’s prayers. He furthered that when we pray God always there just waiting for his children to make supplications, “but before we ask he already has the answer. While we are still talking, He is already working, so when God is speaking just listen,” he stated.
Pete does Gospel, Pop and Rock opera. He is a Songwriter, Music Director, TV host, Pastor and multi-instrumentalists. He has recorded songs like: ‘The Prodigal’, ‘Tonight’, ‘What we Fight For’, ‘Make a Change’ etc.
With his ability to socially influence people in society, Pete was in 2017 and 2018 ranked among the 50 most influential Sierra Leoneans.
After releasing his song titled ‘Call him Oluwa’ in 2017, he has won a series of awards including, Nexte Heirs Africa awards, as best entertainer in 2017, and Turning point Award.
