Ishiaka Koroma Among Sierra Leone’s First Certified Local Football Agents

Freetown, March 2025 – The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has marked a historic milestone by certifying the nation’s first-ever local football agents. A group of 19 individuals successfully completed the Local Football Agents Examination, including Ishiaka Koroma, CEO of the Prospect Foundation. His certification underscores a steadfast dedication to advancing football and fostering youth development in Sierra Leone.

The certification ceremony, held at the SLFA Football Academy, was hailed as a pivotal moment for football governance and administration in the country. Vice President 1 of the SLFA, Harold Nat Johnson, commended the newly certified agents for their achievement and emphasized the importance of professionalism and integrity in their roles.

Johnson also reaffirmed the SLFA’s commitment to strengthening football management through initiatives like this program, urging agents to collaborate with the federation in nurturing local talent and facilitating player transfers, both domestically and internationally.

Ishiaka Koroma’s certification reinforces his status as an influential figure in football administration and aligns with the SLFA’s mission of elevating the sport. Through his leadership at the Prospect Foundation, Koroma has consistently championed youth development and created pathways for aspiring players.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Ibrahim Mohamed Kamara expressed gratitude to the SLFA for the opportunity and pledged to maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism.
