Juliana D. Conteh, aka Julie Tombo, the winner of the 3rd edition of Housemate Salone, a popular reality TV show in Sierra Leone has been unveiled as Brand Ambassador by Dr. Imambay Disabled International Foundation.
Dr. Imambay Disabled International Foundation is a UK-Sierra Leonean foundation which seeks to help Persons with Disabilities around the globe. It also supports vulnerable women and girls.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Foundation, Dr. Imambay Kadie Kamara, is a Global Humanitarian and Disability Rights Activist.
Recently the Global International Alliance University USA, she was conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree upon her for her exemplary work in Global Humanitarism, and President Joe Biden, the President of the United States of America also awarded her with the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for her 20+ years of service to humanity.
The deal came after Julie Tombo attracted many people with her leadership skills during Season 3 of Housemate Salone.
Although she encountered lots of criticisms before and during her stay in the House, she never gave up but instead focused on herself to win the show which she did.
According to Julie, dreams are hard to achieve, but if one is focused and prepared shut his or her ears to comments that are meant to distract they will surely reach their true destination she said.
“I thank you fans and those that used to stigmatize me. You all contributed to my success. Dr. Imambay thank you for the opportunity; AYV, thank you for giving me the platforms,” she said.
