Kao Denero, ambassador for entertainment and special envoy for investment, has recently said that he would soon launch a database for entertainers with the aim to upgrade and protect the entertainment industry and its entertainers.
He said that the database would keep details of all entertainers. “And that would be helpful for the industry. The database will provide official identification cards for every genuine entertainer as well as protect the legal rights from any unlawful brutality. So, I encourage every entertainers including moviemakers, musicians, models etc. to register,” he said.
Kao added, “Being an ambassador is tagged to pledging to always doing your best to keep all entertainers in the same page despite the bashes and insults faced as the tenure of office continues. For the past few days, we’ve been engaged in private discussions on how we can roll out a national entertainment registration process through the office of the entertainment ambassador.”
“The need to have a sense of all active entertainers and also documented is very pivotal. Myself, Colabo, foryoh,Terror D, Waheed, Menace, DJ Kallox, DJ Kman UK, DJ Shaba Australia, Promoter Kenike Gambia plus a few more names from Salone and the diaspora are knee deep into this representing their respective platforms and areas. Entertainers legal rights, a national identification card process plus medical representation for entertainers when needed are all topics on the table for discussion. Get registered to be protected as an entertainer,” he concluded.
