Leadership Transition at SALHOC

The Sierra Leone Housing Corporation (SALHOC) has initiated a structured leadership transition with the appointment of Mr. Joseph Munda Sandi as the new General Manager. Today, Mr. Sandi engaged in formal discussions with the outgoing General Manager, Mr. Charles Musa, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Tommy, as well as the corporation’s management and staff, marking the official start of the transition process.

The introductory meeting aimed to ensure a seamless transfer of responsibilities and to reinforce institutional stability. Reflecting on his tenure, Mr. Charles Musa highlighted key achievements and expressed confidence in the corporation’s continued growth under the new leadership.

Deputy General Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Tommy, emphasized the importance of continuity and collaboration, affirming SALHOC’s commitment to maintaining operational efficiency throughout the transition period.

Mr. Joseph Munda Sandi, recognized for his dynamic leadership and dedication, described his appointment as an honor. He reiterated his commitment to advancing SALHOC’s mandate within the framework of Pillar Five of the government’s development agenda—Infrastructure. Mr. Sandi also emphasized his open-door policy, fostering inclusivity and stakeholder engagement to drive innovation and progress within the corporation.

The official handover ceremony and formal introduction of the newly appointed Board of Directors are scheduled for March 24, 2025.
