Andrew Modupeh Bonnie, commonly known as Modumili, a local musician in the west of Freetown, has on Tuesday, March 1,2022 released a video song, ‘Genesis’.
According to Modumili, the title of the video song could be associated to the creation story in the Book of Genesis of the Bible. He wanted to send out a message, that in whatever difficult situation you find yourself in life, there is always an opportunity to create changes and make amends.
Modumili also said that the lyric of the song reflects the start of his musical career. He said in spite of all the rigors, he was able to make a mark in the industry.
He said that the lyrics in the video educates and inspires people on how they could develop their lives and societies. He said that the song would also shape the mind-set of the youth.
It should lso be remembered that Modumili released an album titled ‘On God’, consisting of eight songs: Dear God,’ ‘Ar nor Bin Know, Life, Sugar, Too bad etc., in February 2021. He said that he had collaborated with many Sierra Leonean music stars like Mos B, in a song titled ‘Sorry’, and both Kazy and Mos B in another song titled ‘Too Much’.
