Old Prince Waleans Association Launches UNIMTECH Chapter Ahead of Centenary

Freetown, 21st March 2025 – The University of Management and Technology (UNIMTECH) has officially launched the Old Prince Waleans Association (OPWA) UNIMTECH Chapter, marking a historic milestone for Princewaleans ahead of The Prince of Wales School’s 100th anniversary. The chapter, the first alumni association on campus, aims to foster academic excellence, social cohesion, and moral integrity.

The event featured a keynote address by Alhaji Dauda Musa Bangura, OPWA Worldwide Vice-President II, who unveiled the chapter’s Centenary Logo and contributed $100 to support its initiatives. He urged the executive team to advocate for peers’ welfare and collaborate with The Prince of Wales School to promote discipline and holistic development.

UNIMTECH Students’ Union President Jacklyn Mariama Malik commended OPWA UNIMTECH’s leadership, while chapter President Moses Kandeh expressed gratitude for the support received during its formation and pledged to champion Princewaleans’ welfare.

The launch signifies a transformative step for Princewaleans at UNIMTECH, uniting the community with a legacy of excellence and a future of promise.
