Port Authority FC Determined to Change Narrative

The Assistant Coach of Ports Authority Football Club, Hassan Sesay has told Premier News that his side is ready to change the face of club. His statement came after Port Authority defeated SLIFA by 2-1 in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier League on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the Approved School field in Freetown.

Sesay commended the performance of his boys which he described as ‘a perfect team work’.

“Two beautiful goals in the first half by Mohamed Fobie and Joseph Cleveland helped to secure a win for Ports Authority,” he said.

“When asked about the poor performance during the first leg of the league, Coach Sesay said that they were having lots of injuries which affect the team in the first half of the League. We thank God because during the opening of the windows we brought in new players to help the team,” he said.

With this win we are going back to the drawing board to see what went wrong so that we can work on it ahead of our next fixtures on Wednesday February 16, 2022 when we will host Kamboi Eagles who trashed Anti-Drugs FC by 5-3 at the Attougamini-stadium.

Ports Authority currently lie 11th in the league table with 20 points after playing 18 matches.
