Why Candidates from Providence Excel in Public Examinations

Paul Kamara is a retired teacher. He said that there are many reasons for the excellent performance of candidates from the school.  He said that Providence International Senior High School has extended school hours. He said that lessons commence at 8:30 am and end at 3:30 pm daily at the school. He said that the seven-hour classes allow teachers to cover their subjects and make room for proper review of lessons.

Secondly, Kamara said the school promotional examinations and tests are more challenging than the external exams, which places students in a better position to excel in public examinations.

The retired teacher said that Providence International Senior High School gives regular assignments to students which build their capacities and promote hard work.

Kamara said that the school has qualified teachers and a conducive environment to promote effective teaching and learning. He said that the proprietor of the school, Mr Bangura has instituted a proper monitoring mechanism to ensure that standards are maintained in the school. He said with all of these, it is not surprising that the school excelled in 2023 WASSCE.
