Rejoice Terefa wins Little Mister, Miss Africa Pageant

Rejoice Terefa Kamara aka Terry Kay, a Sierra Leonean model, has on Friday April 15, 2022 won Little Mister and Miss Africa pageant, 2022.

The show was held in Pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala, Uganda.

Terry Kay is a musician, actress and model while Treasure is also a model and musician.

She contested against: Treasure Lucy Kallao, a Sierra Leonean contestant that took the 1st Runner-up, Ndaloenhle Lethabo Sibanyoni from South Africa, Abiol Joseph Malek Arop from South Sudan, Valeria Adoyo from Kenya, Basimallah Janat Matovu from Uganda and others.

According to Terry Kay, she would not have won the contest if Sierra Leoneans wouldn’t have supported her. “So, I appreciate you all for supporting me,” she said.

LMMA is a continental pageant for both Boys and Girls between the ages of 4 to 16 years. It’s aimed at providing a positive space for young Africans to celebrate the rich, diverse and dynamic African culture and heritages. It also empowers young children to realize their potential through a competitive, collaborative effort, building confidence through professional opportunity and cultural diversity. LMMA is an annual pageant that seeks to give a human face to the continent.

United Bank for Africa ((UBA), one of the sponsors of Terry Kay, stated that they were very happy for Terry Kay to emerge as the winner for Little Mister and Miss Africa pageant, 2022.

According to the bank, they had opened a bank account for the new celebrity with their UBA Kiddies Account.
