Sierra Leone Boxing Association over the weekend elected a new executive to run its affairs for the next 4 years.
Solomon Kargbo was elected president of the Association while Alhaji Komba maintains his secretary-general position, John Forbie is the new executive vice president, and Ibrahim Kamara is the newly elected treasurer, and Christian Campbell is now the New Administrative Director of external affairs
The Secretary-General of the Association, Komba told this medium that they have come together for the betterment of boxing in the country.
It could be recall that prior to the recent elections which were held over the weekend, the boxing association had a parallel executive. The Sierra Leone Boxing Association is the professional body that is responsible for all boxing activities in the country. The Association has been involved in so many competitions in and out of the country and has brought laurels.
