A man who was sleeping in one of the apartments when the fire broke was scalded over when he ran through the flame to save himself.

He added that nine households with their heads, some with more than six children and other relatives, were affected by the incident with all their belongings lost in the fire. “All of our property was burnt. We are now living with nothing,” he added.
