A multi-talented kid, Terry Kay aka the Tic Tok Queen, 4, has on Thursday, December 10, 2020, released two songs titled: ‘Tic Tok Queen’ and ‘Seriously’.
She said that Tic Tok is a song which she uses to express her passion about the social medium, adding, “Tic Tok been the most entertaining and my favorite social medium of all, I decided to sing about it. Tic Tok, is everything to me and I like everything about it.”
She revealed that she chooses Tic Tok Queen as her stage name because other kids are using names like Pekin Dem Mama, and Pekin Aunty.
Kay explained that she started singing and dancing at the age 2 when she got motivated by her elder sister Chubby Asa, one of the renowned Sierra Leone kid singers.
Kay explained that her passion grew for music when she saw her elder sister Chubby Asa doing extremely well in the entertainment industry.
“Whenever I see my sister performing on stage, I am motivated and always wish to be like her.”
She said that her sister coaches her in both music and schooling.
She said, “I am in nursery two this year. Since I got more passion for music, my parents always support me to pursue my dream in music.”
Kay is a multi-talented kid. She sings Afro pop, RnB and Hip-hop. “I am a singer, a movie actress and a ballet dancer,” she said.
