Sierra Leone: Harrison Wisdom releases gospel single

Harrison Wisdom, an eight-year-old Gospel prodigy in the east of Freetown, has recently released his new gospel song, ‘Na Wonder’ alongside its video clip.

According to Wisdom, the song is a praise to God for building his talents which has caused him to be admired by other kids and youths in the communities.

He said everything that has happened in his life was as a result of the wonders of God, saying, “As young as I am everyone in my community is yearning to be my friend because of my talents, and my songs are played everywhere; so it’s a wonder. That’s why I decided to titled my song ‘Na Wonder,’ because things are just unbelievable.”

He explained that Music is good for the human soul, adding that many people can’t live without listening to it, because they could be relieved from whatever stress they may be going through.

Harrison revealed that he admires Travis Green, the Nigerian gospel star. He added that he usually listens to and mime his songs daily.

He said that he started a career as a gospel musician when he was only age 6, adding that he was the leading vocalist in his school.

He said that after his aunt discovered that he had a gift in music, she asked him to be leading devotion in his school every morning.

He said so far he has released songs like: ‘Lord I Come’, ‘Marriage’ and ‘Na Wonder’, since he started singing gospel songs.

 “Music is everything to me; it is a way of life. I use music to pass on information, praise and worship God,” he said.

He stressed that people should believe in kids because they are the future of the nation. He admonished every parent and guardian to help their kids who have talent in whatever area to achieve them.
