Sierra Leone: Honorable Music Empire Releases Song to Raise Awarenes

Honorable Music Empire, a local entertainment label in the Regent community, in colaboration with local musicians: Justice, Sia Hana and Joe Dyce, has on Tuesday June 16,2020 released a single titled ‘No Cry Africa’.

Justice, a musician who featured in the song, said that it had been inspired by oppressions Africans are undergoing by the wider world.He added that the song higlights African Unity and the need for peace as a condition to make the continent a  better place.

Dyce recalled that active African leaders have been killed like Mohamad Ghadafi, due to disunity among Africans. “We have all what it takes to make our continent one of the best continents in the world, but disunity is not allowing us to do so. I encouraged africans to love one another to make Africa for the future generations,” he said.

Sia Hana, another artist who contributed in the song, expressed her delight to have been part of the song, which he said was her own contribution to her beloved Africa.

 “There is no place like home. We need to be united in order to see the betterment of this continent. Other continents have grown today simply because, they have unity among themselves and nothing cannot be achieved in term of development except in unity,” she said.

Kelvin Alvinton Johnson, the CEO of Honorable Music Empire, explained that, the Empire had been established in 2018, with the aim of promoting and managing musicians across the nation, and ultimately developing the entertainment industry in the Country.

Johnson remarked that the Empire serves as a record label which signs upcoming and other musicians.

He further commented, “Since the Empire was established, we have contributed greatly in the lives of musicians and the entertainment industry in Sierra Leone. We have groomed many artists, and we are still giving them opportunities to live in their dreams.  We make them to be potential and outstanding musicians across the country.”

He added that the expectation of the Empire is to see that after the musicians had gone through it, they could help, not only themselves but also Sierra Leone, by change the face of the Sierra Leonean music Industry and help develop the nation and its economy as a whole.
