Former Sierra Leonean international striker, Mohamed Kallon has received a UEFA Professional football coaching license at the Museo del Calcio in Florence, Italy. He received his coaching badge on Monday September 21, 2020. He’s the first in the history of Sierra Leone to have bagged a UEFA Pro license.
The former Sierra Leone soccer idol was among the newly qualified coaches trained by the Italian Football Federation (Federation Giuoco Calci, FIG)
Having A UEFA Pro License is a mandatory qualification for all first team managers who want to work in the highest levels of world football.
Kallon, who completed his UEFA A license in 2018, was in the same group with Juventus’ manager Andrea Pirlo who completed the Pro master training course at the Italian Football Museum at the Museo del Calcio in Florence.
The owner of FC Kallon has added to his huge list of coaching badges, CAF B, US Soccer Federation B, US Soccer Federation A, UEFA B, UEFA A, and Sports Administration 2020.
During the final exam, all qualified coaches took oral exams for the individual subjects on football technique and tactics, communication, psychology, medicine and training methodology, before discussing their thesis in front of the director of the Coaching School, Renzo Ulivieri.
