Sierra Leone: Musician inspires entertainers

Tutie Haffner, aka Master 2T, a local musician and the Chief Executive Officer of Freetong players, has on Wednesday encouraged entertainers to be productive and persistent.

According to Haffner, certain persons with huge potentials had left the industry today without actualizing the benefits of their efforts.

According to the Freetong Player CEO, giving up should not be an option, although good and bad times are bound to come in life. “So if you are having that bad times now let it don’t be the reason to back off; find ways and means to turn the bad times into good ones by going for it with all you can,” he said.  “If you are a footballer, artist, musician, keep working for good it will one day happen for you,” he emphasized.

Haffner said that, he started gaining knowledge in music from his household where his parents lectured, nurtured and gave him all they could in music.

He added that ,as a result of his love for music, even though he had gained much knowledge in music from his parents, he furthered his quest by increasing his  musical knowledge at the Ballanta Academy of Music to improve his career in music.

“I went to the Ballanta Academy of Music to do music theory. I trained my voice, and other musical instruments in order to strengthen my musical career. Now I have three albums.”

He is a vocalist, Keyboardist, guitarist, and he also plays traditional drums.

Haffner said that, he has 30 years experience in the entertainment industry.
