Sierra Leonean Sides Hold their Ground in African Club Competitions

Two Football Clubs, Bo Rangers F. C. and F. C. Kallon from Sierra Leonean have over the weekend demonstrated that Sierra Leonean teams could participate competitively in African Club Competitions.  The current Champions of the Premier League in Sierra Leone Bo Rangers played to a goalless draw against Algerian Champions CR Belouizdad on Saturday the 10th of September 2022.

F.C. Kallon on Friday the 9th of September 2022 defeated Buffles de Borgou 1-0 in the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup in Benin in the first leg of their preliminary encounter while the return leg at the Samuel Kayan Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia Liberia.

Bo Rangers FC will go away to Algerian champions CR Belouizdad on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at the Stade du 20 Août 1955 at 18:30pm, in the return leg of the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF Champions League in the first leg preliminary stage.

 A win for Bo Rangers will see them progress to the next stage of the competition.

“It was a good and brilliant performance from our boys we were unlucky not to take all three-point but we are hopefully going to Algeria to make an impact,” Coach Abadi assured the press.
