Freetown, Sierra Leone – April 11, 2025: The Sierra Leone U-20 National Team, fondly known as the Shooting Stars, has officially commenced training camp today under the leadership of Head Coach Mohamed Lamin Kamara. This pivotal step comes as the team prepares for their debut appearance at the prestigious TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, which is set to be held in Egypt from April 27 to May 18, 2025.
This marks a historic moment for Sierra Leone as the Shooting Stars embark on their journey to compete against some of the continent’s finest teams. The squad consists of 25 home-based players who have been called to camp to hone their skills and enhance their readiness for the tournament.
