Speaking on the company’s expansion and contribution to job creation, the Director General praised the growth of Dorlbee Water Company from a small venture to a major player in the water purification sector. “What began as a small venture has now grown into a leading name in the industry, and I believe this expansion has not only increased the company’s capacity but also created decent employment opportunities for Sierra Leoneans,” he noted.

Daboh emphasized that the company’s impact goes beyond its size, touching on its profound effect on local communities by employing local workers and sourcing materials from within the country. He called Dorlbee a “model for other companies,” and urged others in the water industry to emulate their standards of quality and excellence.

“As we look to the future, it is crucial to maintain the highest standards of integrity and excellence,” Daboh continued. He stressed the importance of upholding the company’s reputation through honesty, transparency, and accountability, values he believes are essential for fostering trust and creating a thriving work environment.

Daboh also urged the SLLCA’s Regional Coordinator, East, to ensure that supermarkets in Kenema prominently display Dorlbee Water in their “Made in Sierra Leone” sections, further promoting local products.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dorlbee Water Company, Mrs. Matilda Doris Sellu, recounted the company’s journey.
