The Sierra Leone Female Premier League Board on Wednesday commenced club verification process at the Sierra Leone Football Academy, Kingtom.
The verification process is to ensure that clubs could provide all details of contracts and other supporting documents of their players.
The process will continue till Friday. The Female Premier League Board is encouraging all qualified female clubs to participate in the verification process because that is the only process that can qualify them to compete in the league.
It could be recalled that the board was set up to ensure that female League and female football play across the country.
The board was unveiled on March 18, 2022, with one of its mandates to run the 2022 – 2023 premier league with the astute Leadership of Mrs. Asmaa James as the board Chairperson with six others.
