Smart Movement CEO Deepens President Bio Re-election Campaign in Kono

In an effort to ensure the re-election of  President Julius Maada Bio, the Chief Executive Officer of the Smart Movement for Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) Aerean  Steven Smart Gegra,  has over the weekend, deepened village-village  campaign meeting in  Kono district.

The recent of such meeting was held at the Dangbaidu Section, in the Karama Chiefdom, Kono District, where locals in the chiefdom pledged to vote for President Bio in the forthcoming elections.

Gegra said President Bio has provided an uninterrupted electricity supply to the people of Kono, He spoke about the ongoing construction of University of Science in Kono by the Bio administration    He admonished locals of Kono to encourage their girl child to pursued education. He added that women are in majority and are very instrumental in terms of development. He said President Bio made education as his flagship programme in order to improve on the Human Capital  for the betterment of the country.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Smart Movement for SLPP also intimated that President Bio is a man of peace and has contributed to bringing peace to the country.

 He added that when President Bio took over governance in 2018, he made frantic effort to bring political national cohesion through the hosting of the Bintumani three conference and the establishment of the Commission for Peace.

Smart Gegra assured that he will be visiting every village in Kono district in order to champion so the re-election of President Bio.  He said that President Bio had done tremendous work in his first five years, and  therefore  called on the People of Kono to support President Bio’s re-election so that district will benefit  from more development.

“President Bio has started a very good work, so I am calling on you all to support the President to secure his second term victory without run-off,” he said.

In their appreciation message#, the sectional Chairman for Dangbaidu Section, in the Karama Chiefdom, Kono District, commended Smart Gegra for championing the re-election of President Bio.

He reaffirmed that it was only the SLPP that has built schools in the villages. He added that the SLPP had also provided them with good toilet facility in the section.  He reassured the CEO of Smart Movement and the SLPP in general that Kono will resoundingly support President Bio’s re-election without run-off.
