The National Under 17 Technical team headed by Mohamed Lamin Kamara has invited a provisional Under-17 squad to continue preparations for two friendly matches in Liberia slated for the 5th and 8th June 2022.
This provisional U-17 squad was drawn from all five regions of the country to start camping in Makeni. The camping session started on Monday, May 23, 2022.
The Media Officer Attached, Mansurr Koroma said that camping which comprises of over 32 players, is expected to last until June 1, 2022. The team is expected to leave for Liberia on June 2, 2022
In another development, the Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association has approved the appointment of two sets coaches as the country prepares for the Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) Algeria 2022 qualifying double-header against Cape Verde in July and the U-17 friendlies against Morocco and Liberia in June this year.

Furthermore, the SLFA announced the following appointments:
Mohamed Benson Bawoh, Assistant General Secretary.
Alimamy Conteh, Youth Football Coordinator. The two appointees are expected to resume work in their respective new capacities effective immediately.
