US Africa Movie Production Releases New FilmBy Ibrahim S. Bangura

US Africa Movie Production has officially released “Remission,” a new film that underscores the importance of parental involvement and strong family bonds. Written by acclaimed Nigerian writer Ngara Solomon Freedom and executive-produced by Sierra Leonean Evelyn Grote, the CEO of US Africa Movie Production, “Remission” tells the poignant story of a young woman struggling with addiction and family challenges after returning to Africa.

The protagonist, battling addiction and self-destructive behaviors, finds herself longing for her parents’ love and support. However, her attempts to engage with her career-absorbed parents go unnoticed, leading to a serious heart condition and a severe kidney ailment requiring an urgent transplant. In a dramatic twist, the family cook steps forward as a willing donor, only to be revealed as the young woman’s biological mother, a truth unknown to both until this moment.

Ngara Solomon Freedom emphasizes that “Remission” serves as a wake-up call for parents to prioritize their children over work or financial pursuits. The film is expected to resonate deeply with audiences, tackling themes of addiction, family neglect, and unexpected connections, and is anticipated to make a significant impact in African cinema.
