White Ose Class 1 Organization gives Ramadan Ifter to Hundreds of Sierra Leoneans 

As a way of celebrating Sierra Leone’s 61st Independence anniversary, a nonprofit and nonpolitical organization, on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 gave food items to hundreds of Muslims within the Bombay Street and its environs, as a way of helping Muslims during the month of Ramadan as iffer.

Mr. Samuel D. Balley, Secretary-General of White Ose Class 1 Organization Sierra Leone Chapter, said that this is the second time their organization donating to needy in Sierra Leone.

He said that their organization is a charitable organization comprising of members from the diaspora and in Sierra Leone who contribute immensely to the development of the organization in ensuring they give back to society.

He explained that 85 percent of its member are Muslim who have come together to support each other when they have problems like funerals or the happiness.

“We did not expect this kind of crowd but as an organization that supports the less privileged we just have to give all of them as this is the month of fasting and  do not have to what eat so with this little they can be able to break their fasting,”

He said that the donation was done in tow faces, adding that   they donated to seven mosques around the community and residents within the community also.  

Responding on behalf of Susu Mosque, the Speaker thanked the White Ose Class 1 Organization for such timely support.

He offered prayers for members of the organization and called on other organizations to replicate what these young people have done.

Another beneficiary, Fanta Bamba, a person with disability, thanked the donors for a timely donation,  adding that as disabled they are finding it very difficult to get food daily.
